Stumps and Stripes, exhibited in the Whittier College Annual Student Exhibition, Whittier, CA, USA, 2003.

Stumps and Stripes is an artist’s book that I made during my 3rd year in college. I was taking classes on contemporary environmental science and contemporary political philosophy at the time and the imagery in the book is basically an illustration of the similarities that I saw between those two subjects. I used a combination of digital and traditional printmaking to produce the book and it ended up winning first place in the student exhibition!
